WWDC 2011: Confirmados o iOS 5, iCloud e Mac OS X Lion!

Estamos há poucos dias do maior evento anual da Apple, a WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference), e como não podia deixar de ser, muitos rumores foram disparados na web durante as últimas semanas. Um deles era de que a Apple apresentaria uma solução própria de computação em nuvem, rumor esse que se confirmou hoje com o anúncio do serviço iCloud. Outro rumor, que na verdade já era tido como uma informação certa, era o de que o iPhone 5 (ou iPhone 4S) não seria apresentado na WWDC desse ano; rumor confirmado!

Diferentemente dos últimos anos, a WWDC 2011 focará nos principais softwares da Apple deixando a parte de hardware para a segunda metade do ano, geralmente entre os meses de setembro e outubro. No entanto, sempre tem um "one more thing" (mais uma coisa) nos eventos da Apple e a empresa pode surpreender fugindo um pouco daquilo que está planejado para o evento.

Apple to Unveil Next Generation Software at Keynote Address on Monday, June 6

CUPERTINO, California-May 31, 2011-Apple® CEO Steve Jobs and a team of Apple executives will kick off the company's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. At the keynote, Apple will unveil its next generation software - Lion, the eighth major release of Mac OS® X; iOS 5, the next version of Apple's advanced mobile operating system which powers the iPad®, iPhone® and iPod touch®; and iCloud®, Apple's upcoming cloud services offering.

WWDC will feature more than 100 technical sessions presented by Apple engineers.
